Accessibility
The Fall Crawl is for everyone 21 and up, and so is this site. It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What the site does
- Every image that carries information has a text description, including the words in the icon graphic and every spot named on the map.
- Every spot on the map is also listed as text in the Fall Crawl Guide.
- Text and buttons are high contrast against the background.
- Menus, buttons, the spin wheel and pop-ups are standard controls that work with a keyboard and a screen reader. A skip link jumps past the header.
- Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages are built with headings and labeled sections, so screen readers can move through them.
How it is checked
The site scored 100 for accessibility in Google Lighthouse on phones and computers in September 2026. Automated tests catch only part of what matters, so pages are also checked by hand when content changes.
Participating venues
Each venue is an independent business and is responsible for the accessibility of its own space. For questions about entrances, seating or restrooms, check with that venue directly.
